Hi all, you sweet pieces of candy.

Anyone knows a good alternative to Karisma colour pencils? The ones I currently have are slowly starting to be consumed, and for what I know, Karisma pencils are not produced anymore.

I'm in need for high-quality colour pencils that can replace them, so, what are the best brands you can recommand me? The pencils must be very fat and "oily", because that way they can be blended. Let me know, buddies!

Faber-Castell has a pretty nice choice of quality pencils. Not sure they exactly have what you need, but you should take a look !

I also recently bought a pastel pencil made by "Conté à Paris". Great stuff !

Faber Castell are famous for being good, so I'll definitely take a look for their softier product. I've never heard about those "Conté à Paris". Can you tell me something more about them? Like, how soft are they? Do they blend well together?
Thank you very much for the advice and sorry for the late reply!

After working a bit more with them, I find those Conté pencils are actually very good: they're quite big (a bit thicker than a cigarette), very soft, and they offer an easy and subtle blend.

If you need any more information, I think those links may explain it better than I'll do (the PDF files available on those pages are very nice too):……

I hope I've been useful, and that you'll find what you're looking for.

See you ! :)
